    Pie...Oh My! Are you an experienced pie crust maker? New to the skill? HCE members Sharon Scherer & Gracia Schlafly will lead a program on making pie crusts. Sharon will demonstrate how to make enough pie crusts for a year...in one easy, short mixing session. Gracia will demonstrate a fast, interesting way to make pie crusts with boiling water! We'll share tips for making flaky crusts, best ingredients and pans. Bring your questions...and your own expertise to share during this session. Tuesday, September 18 at 1:30 at the Annex. The program is free, but please call 939-3434 if you plan t attend.

    Open house to discuss and gain public input for the proposed Creekside Park project, which consists of new asphalt walking/biking trails, pavilions, playground equipment, parking lot, pedestrian bridge, 2-acre lake, and other amenities in an effort to develop the 17 acre park.

  4. Bolm-Schuhkraft Connector Trail Project - Public Information Meeting

    Open house to discuss and gain public input for the proposed Bolm-Schuhkraft Connector Trail project, which will add sidewalks and curb and gutter along Monroe Street from Main Street to the old Department of Public Works property. The project will also include a shared-use path across City property linking Main Street to the existing trail in Bolm-Schuhkraft Park.
